    The Business Manager, Value Chain Banking operates at the intersection of transaction banking and corporate relationship management, specializing in:

    • Supply Chain Finance: Reverse factoring, inventory financing
    • Distribution Networks: Dealer financing, receivables discounting

    This role transforms traditional corporate banking by:

    • Vertical Integration: Mapping financial solutions across production cycles
    • Horizontal Expansion: Capturing SME participants in corporate orbits
    • Technology Leverage: Deploying digital rails for ecosystem payments

    Key Responsibilities
    Business and Financial Performance:

    • Deliver $50M+ annual revenue from value chain solutions
    • Grow ecosystem participant base by 40% YoY
    • Achieve 30% wallet share of anchor corporate's banking needs
    •  Maintain portfolio NPL <4% despite SME exposures

    Customer Excellence:

    • Design tailored ecosystem solutions per industry (FMCG, auto, pharma)
    • Implement supplier early payment programs with 95% SLA adherence
    • Achieve NPS >75 for both anchors and ecosystem clients
    • Resolve dispute cases within 72 hours

    Leadership and People Management:

    •  Lead 5-7 value chain specialists with sector-focused pods
    • Train 100+ RM/BD staff annually on ecosystem selling
    • Maintain solution specialist productivity of $8M+/year

    Process, Control and Operational Performance:

    • Automate 80% of supplier onboarding via digital KYC
    • Reduce approval times to <48 hours for pre-approved limits
    • Enforce dynamic risk pricing based on anchor corporate health

    Strategic Initiatives:

    • Pioneer embedded finance products with corporate e-procurement systems
    • Develop carbon credit-enabled supply chain financing

    Regulatory & Stakeholder Engagement:

    •  Ensure AML compliance across high-volume ecosystem flows
    •  Partner with trade associations for sector-specific solutions

    Digital Transformation:

    • Achieve 70% paperless ecosystem onboarding
    • Implement IoT-enabled inventory financing

    Experience & Expertise:

    Client & Market Orientation:

    • Ability to map complex supply chains
    • Fluency in industry-specific working capital cycles

    Communication & Leadership:

    • Skilled at C-suite workshops on cash flow transformation
    • Multilingual capability for pan-African ecosystems

    Education:

    • MBA with operations/supply chain focus
    • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) preferred
