You will oversee the energy landscape (public and private sector) and will work in full autonomy, supported by our local and virtual teams, to develop opportunities with local and international investors, interact with the highest authorities in the country and leverage your network to contribute to Siemens Energy’s success.
It will be your responsibility to understand and anticipate customer requirements, ensure they know and understand Siemens Energy’s value proposition and accompany both the internal execution unit, as well as the client, along the entire opportunity development phase.
What You Bring
At least 7 years’ experience in Nigeria’s energy sector with proven track record in developing successful complex businesses.
High education degree (Msc, MBA, , …) in engineering/sciences or comparable quantitative field.
Good knowledge of the power sector. Experience in power grids and high voltage systems will be a strong asset.
Strong network with local decision makers, international developers, EPCs, consultants, utilities, and related stakeholders necessary for success
Strong business acumen, with experience in scouting and developing deals.
Winning personality, a good listener, and a good communicator
Ability to work with diverse cultures and a team player, sharing successes with your colleagues.
Quick and curious learner and open to learn new things.
