We are seeking highly motivated and results-oriented Experienced Business Development Officers to drive growth and expand our market presence in Lagos and beyond.
The ideal candidates will have a proven track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets. You will play a crucial role in developing and executing our business development strategies.
Responsibilities:
Identify and research potential clients and market opportunities within relevant industries.
Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company growth objectives.
Generate leads through various methods including networking, cold outreach, and industry research.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
Conduct presentations and product/service demonstrations to potential clients.
Negotiate and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
Who are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in business development and sales, preferably within financial institutions.
Demonstrable track record of successfully generating new business and achieving sales targets.
Strong understanding of the Lagos market and business landscape.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Exceptional negotiation and closing abilities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
A proactive and results-oriented attitude.
