    Business Development Officer

    Job Summary

    Mezovest Limited, a leading player in LPG distribution and energy solutions, is seeking a results-driven Business Development Officer to drive growth and strengthen relationships with partners and vendors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, acquiring new clients, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and ensuring timely payment follow-ups to support cash flow and operational stability.

    This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and business development skills, with a strong focus on results and customer relationship management.

    Key Responsibilities         

    • Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase company revenue.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and key stakeholders.
    • Follow up with vendors and partners to ensure timely payments and resolve outstanding issues.
    • Develop and implement strategies for market penetration and growth.
    • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify business prospects.
    • Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and business pitches to potential clients.
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline reports, and payment follow-ups.
    • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of business deals.

    Requirements

    • Education: B.Sc/HND in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
    • Experience: 2–3 years in business development, sales, or account management (experience in energy, oil & gas, or related industries is an advantage).

    Skills:

    • Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to follow up diligently on payments and maintain positive vendor relationships.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and proposals.
    • Self-driven, goal-oriented, and able to work under minimal supervision.

    Salary & Benefits

    • Monthly Net Salary: N150,000
