    Business Development Officer (Learning and Development)

    Job Objectives

    • Are you a dynamic and results-driven professional passionate about learning and development in the HR industry?
    • Do you excel in building strong client relationships and have a proven track record of bringing in new business opportunities?
    • If so, we invite you to join our team as a Business Development Officer specializing in Learning and Development.

    Principal Duties / Responsibilities
    Strategic Partnerships:

    • Develop strategic partnerships and alliances with key players in the learning and development industry.
    • Explore collaborative opportunities to enhance our service offerings and expand our client base.

    Client Acquisition:

    • Identify, target, and engage with potential clients interested in learning and development services.
    • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers to understand their organizational needs.

    Networking:

    • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to establish a strong presence in the learning and development community.
    • Leverage networking opportunities to create brand awareness and generate leads.

    Client Relationship Management:

    • Foster strong and enduring relationships with existing clients, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
    • Act as a trusted advisor, understanding clients' evolving needs and proposing tailored solutions.

    Revenue Generation:

    • Meet and exceed revenue targets through successful client acquisitions and retention.
    • Continuously seek opportunities to upsell and cross-sell learning and development services.

    Collaboration with Internal Teams:

    • Work closely with internal learning and development specialists and consultants, to ensure seamless project delivery.
    • Facilitate effective communication between clients and internal teams to meet project objectives.

    Market Research:

    • Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and client demands in the learning and development space.
    • Analyze market insights to tailor offerings that align with client expectations and industry best practices.

    Proposal Development:

    • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized learning and development proposals for potential clients.
    • Ensure proposals are aligned with client requirements, showcasing the value and impact of our services.

    Sales Presentations:

    • Deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, highlighting the benefits and outcomes of partnering with our HR consulting firm for learning and development solutions.
    • Address client inquiries and concerns, providing expert insights on industry standards and the effectiveness of our programs.

    Job Requirements
    To be successful in the role, the candidates should meet the following requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
    • Proven track record in business development, specifically in learning and development services.
    • Strong understanding of the HR consulting industry and learning and development trends.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
    • Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.

    Remuneration

    • Salary: N150,000 Monthly.
    • Benefits: Study Waiver, HMO, Pension Allowance.
