    Business Development Officer (Interstate Bus Transportation Services)

    Our client is a pan-African online marketplace for bus ticket booking which recently entered the Nigerian market.

    They are currently sourcing candidates in the following locations in Nigeria: Asaba, Port Harcourt, Onitsha, Benue, Abuja, Jos, Kaduna, Kano. Interested candidates MUST reside in any of these locations, NO RELOCATION will be offered.

    They must have existing or previous relationships with interstate bus transportation services operators in Nigeria. They are expected to contribute in many ways to the Company’s project, however, the following are the responsibilities:

    • Must have at least 3 years of experience as a sales or business development personnel in any Interstate Bus Transportation company in Nigeria.
    • Must have contacts with small, medium, and large interstate bus companies.
    • Identify and establish a path to onboarding Bus operators in the region that suits company objectives.
    • Develop and manage relationships with bus operators.
    • Directly responsible for the supply field agents assigned under your jurisdiction by the head of operations.
    • Facilitate communication between customers, bus operators, and the Company.
    • Supervise ticket sales and ticket sales staff at terminals.
    • Report and escalate various issues for resolution.
    • Support customer acquisition drive.
    • Daily and weekly reconciliations with the finance department.
    • Any other task that may be assigned by the Head of Operations or other company leadership.
