    Business Development Manager

    Role Summary:

    • As a Business Development Manager, you will find, nurture, and lock down viable long term partnerships that unlock new markets, supercharge transaction volumes, and make Klasha platform and infrastructure the go-to solution for cross-border payments.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Leverage data driven resources to identify and evaluate new strategic opportunities in both emerging and established markets in line with the companies objectives.
    • Negotiate deals, draft proposals, and manage contracts with key decision makers.
    • Manage daily relationship with new and existing merchants via Klasha OTC trade desks and the dashboard, increasing transaction volume continuously.
    • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align go-to-market strategies with customer needs.
    • Represent the company at industry events, webinars.
    • Build relationships with banks, financial institutions, payment processors, and potential enterprise clients.
    • Own your KPIs: lead generation and conversion, partnership success rate, and revenue growth targets.
    • Ultimately ensuring all daily tasks is tied to growth and revenue generation to meet monthly and quarterly TPV targets as assigned.

    Job Requirements:

    • Minimum of 3–5 years experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, preferably in fintech, payments, or B2B SaaS.
    • Ability to work effectively in a Startup.
    • Strong understanding of international payments, FX trade, and/or remittance models.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and people skills.
    • Data-driven mindset.
    • Comfortable working across cultures, time zones, and departments.

    Nice-to-Have

    • Previous experience working in or with emerging markets (Africa, LATAM, SEA, etc.).
    • Existing network of banks, PSPs, or financial institutions.
