    Business Development Manager

    Accountabilities

    • Business Development Manager responsibilities include developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of new clients, and connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.
    • The Business Development Manager liaises between customers and cross-functional internal remote teams to ensure the timely and successful execution of our solutions according to customer needs.
    • Develop new partners and accounts and maintain favorable relationships with clients and partners.
    • Responsible for the growth of revenue in new customers within the Nigerian Market.

    Specification/ Requirements

    • Requires a bachelor's degree (but preferably a master’s degree) in area of specialty or equivalent work experience.
    • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Enterprise software, consulting, and services sales.
    • Familiar with a variety of financial services (Banking and Insurance) software concepts, practices, and procedures.
    • Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
    • Excellent communication skills with prospects and customers
    • Presentation and product demonstration experience
    • Professional Services / Consulting / Implementation / Project Management experience a plus
    • Previous value-based, consultative selling experience preferred.
    • Ability to travel is required.
    • Provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sales process.
    • Work with product owners, and partners to optimize and ensure pricing points are in line with competitors in the region.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage and grow new clients within the assigned market for the Inlaks brand.
    • Define sales strategy for assigned Market and identified clients.
    • Define win plans for defined clients
    • Account planning and acquisitions
    • Prioritize solutions within our portfolio for the defined territories.
    • Engage strategically with clients on Inlaks Digital solutions.
    • Align marketing campaigns to specific verticals and solutions.
    • Executive-level sponsorship within defined accounts
    • Collaborate with business units to ensure correct messaging and solutions within defined clients.
    • Communication with the organization around customer engagements
    • Ensure accurate forecasting to enable resource planning and cash flow.
    • New account acquisition, grow revenue streams on Inlaks solutions.
    • Work with marketing to define events and activities within defined markets.
