The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring and managing high-value customers, institutional clients, and strategic partners. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in banking sales, relationship management, corporate banking, wealth management, or financial advisory roles, who are looking to transition into a high-growth fintech environment.
Responsibilities:
Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers across retail, HNIs, SMEs, and institutional segments.
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Drive end-to-end sales cycles, including lead generation, pitching, negotiation, and closing.
Leverage experience from banking or financial institutions to identify market opportunities.
Convert existing financial services relationships into active Busha users.
Develop and execute business development strategies to drive user acquisition, transaction volume, and revenue growth.
Identify new market opportunities and develop entry strategies for crypto, FX, and cross-border payments.
Expand Busha’s footprint by developing business cases for new markets and product lines.
Build and manage relationships with financial institutions, payment service providers, and key fintech/crypto stakeholders.
Negotiate and onboard large volume traders and enterprise partners.
Identify and secure partnerships with banks, remittance providers, and FX liquidity partners to enhance Busha’s service offerings.
Support the development of the go-to-market strategy, including a list of prioritized client and solution opportunities, a detailed view of the revenue opportunity, and a market engagement plan.
Lead initiatives to drive revenue growth through high-value B2B Partnerships and institutional onboarding.
Use data-driven insights to measure and refine business development efforts.
Work closely with the legal and compliance team to ensure all business development initiatives align with regulatory requirements.
Develop a solid project pipeline, drive conversions over time, and secure revenue growth over time.
Identify and attend appropriate industry events and speaking engagements.
Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor strategies to keep Busha competitive.
The ideal employee must have
3–7 years of experience in sales, business development, or relationship management within: Commercial or Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Wealth Management, Financial Advisory, Fintech, or Financial Services
Established connections with banks, PSPs, and FX liquidity providers.
Familiarity with compliance, AML policies, and global crypto/FX regulations.
Proven track record of closing high-value partnerships and driving B2B sales.
Experience as a Relationship Manager, Business Development Officer, Account Manager, or Sales Lead
A strong client portfolio or network
Comfort selling regulated financial products
A track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
Confidence in engaging senior decision-makers
Nice to Have
Experience selling financial, investment, or technology-enabled products.
Existing network within banks, financial institutions, or corporate organizations.
Knowledge or interest in fintech, digital assets, or emerging financial technologies.
