Job Purpose/Objectives

• To provide support in identifying and evaluating business opportunities, conducting market research, and analyzing data to support strategic decision-making.

Job & Main Specifications (Education/Knowledge, Skills, Attributes, Experience & Other Required Details)

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 3 years experience, preferably, within the Oil and Gas industry.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills and knowledge of Nigeria’s Upstream activities and Midstream value chain.
• Knowledge of financial modelling, business analysis and business development.
• Ability to assess industry trends, identify potential partnerships and contribute to the development of business growth strategies.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite i.e., Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint etc.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Familiarity with industry trends and market dynamics.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities and potential risks relating to upstream acquisition/divestment and development, gas processing, gas transportation and crude handling.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to provide insights into market dynamics and business performance.
• Support the development of financial models to assess the feasibility and potential returns of various business initiatives and investments.
• Contribute to the development of business strategies by providing data-driven insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Identify and evaluate potential partnerships, collaborations, and business opportunities that align with the organization's objectives.
• Analyze financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
• Prepare and present detailed reports, including findings, recommendations and insights, to support executive decision-making.
• Cultivate relationships with external partners, industry experts and internal teams to facilitate collaboration and maximize business development opportunities.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes and market dynamics to proactively identify potential challenges and opportunities.
