The Business Analyst - Growth Hacking & Product Ownership Consultant will hold primary responsibility for eliciting, translating, validating, communicating, negotiating and managing requirements through techniques such as interviews, walkthroughs, surveys, use cases, specifications, and modelling.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring
- Plan Business analysis approach
- Plan stakeholders’ engagement
- Plan Business Analysis Governance
- Identify Business analysis performance improvement
2. Requirement Elicitation and collaboration
Prepare for requirement elicitation
Conduct requirement elicitation
Employ any of the elicitation techniques (Interview, focus group, brainstorming, e.t.c) to gather the requirement from the business.
Confirm requirement results
Revalidate with the business on the result of the elicited requirement
Manage stakeholders’ collaboration
For projects that involves different units, coordinates the different stakeholder to ensure that all the requirements involved in the project is duly elicited.
3. Requirements Life Cycle Management
- Trace requirements- Ensuring that requirements are followed through from development to deployment of the final solution in a bid to ensure that business need is met.
- Maintain requirements- Keeps all the documented requirements and make changes to existing requirement if need be
- Prioritize requirements- Rate requirements in order of importance and value to ensure the most important requirements are implemented first.
- Document requirements ensuring that the business requests are duly captured
- Validating requirements to ensure that the business affirms the correctness of the captured requirements
- Securing stakeholder’s approval on the documented and validated requirement.
- Participate in User review sessions and User acceptance session to ensure that the solution delivered is in line with the business requirement
4. Vendor Selection for Enterprise Solution
- Identify vendors that can deliver the proposed solution
- Develop selection criteria for the proposed solution
- Coordinate and facilitate a demo session for all identified vendors
- Rate vendors based on the pre-set selection criteria
- Communicate the result of the vendor selection exercise to all stakeholders

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- First degree in Computer science or Engineering or other related fields
- Masters’ Degree or Business Analysis professional qualification will be an advantage
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5 years’ requisite experience
