    Brokerage Operations & International Sales Manager

    Job Summary

    • The Brokerage Operations & International Sales Manager is responsible for managing all customs brokerage activities and driving international business growth for the company’s cross-border logistics and express delivery services. This role ensures smooth customs clearance, trade compliance, and exceptional customer experience while developing and maintaining profitable international partnerships and sales channels.
    • The ideal candidate combines operational excellence, regulatory expertise, strong negotiation skills and strong commercial acumen to expand the company’s footprint in key global markets.

    Key Responsibilities

    Brokerage & Customs Operations

    • Supervise all import and export clearance processes, ensuring full compliance with customs regulations and trade laws.
    • Oversee the preparation, submission, and management of all customs documentation for inbound and outbound shipments.
    • Liaise with regulatory agencies (e.g., Nigeria Customs Service, NAFDAC, SON, and other trade authorities) to ensure seamless cargo clearance.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs codes, tariffs, HS classifications, and changing international trade policies.
    • Ensure timely clearance of express shipments to meet service-level commitments.
    • Implement process improvements that reduce delays, minimise costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
    • Train and mentor brokerage staff on documentation accuracy, regulatory updates, and service standards.

    International Sales & Business Growth

    • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow cross-border shipping, e-commerce logistics, and international delivery volumes.
    • Identify and build partnerships with global couriers, freight forwarders, and last-mile delivery agents.
    • Lead negotiations with international clients, distributors, and partners to secure profitable contracts.
    • Explore new international markets and trade routes that align with the company’s expansion goals.
    • Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and pricing structures to attract and retain clients.
    • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform strategic decisions.
