Boiler Supervisor Premier Feed Mills - Ibadan at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc

PURPOSE

To supervise the installation, repairs, maintenance, and operational activities on installed boilers, air compressors, WTP and other auxiliary equipment for maximum capacity utilization.

THE JOB

• Coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, overhaul of installed Boilers, Air Compressors, WTP and other auxiliary equipment’s to avoid breakdown of equipment.
• Advise on spare parts requirement to avoid wrong spare parts.
• Get information from store on stock level inventory for spare parts.
• Monitor and inspect Boilers, air compressors, WTP and other auxiliary equipment and indicators to detect evidence of operating problems.
• To effect efficient breakdown troubleshooting/fault finding of machines and equipment.
• Confirm contractual jobs and supplied spares are okay before store accepts it.
• Liaise between the superior officers and the subordinates to ensure industrial harmony.
• To supervise the documentation /analysis of maintenance parameters for plant improvement.

THE PERSON MUST

• Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Have hands-on experience with preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial boilers and auxiliary systems.
• Have sound knowledge of boiler operations, maintenance, and safety protocols.
• Be safety-conscious and committed to upholding health and safety regulations in all operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

•   5 O’ level Credits including English & Mathematics in not more than two sittings/Technical qualifications.
• OND in Engineering or any related course.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience, preferably in the FMCG Industry.
