SUMMARY OF THE JOB

The Business Intelligence (BI) Report Support Analyst works closely with the Reporting Analyst to coordinate all QlikView /Qliksense related activities within the country.
MAIN ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Customize standard reports or develop new reports to meet business needs
• Examine reports to locate and resolve errors.
• Analyze data for business reports; make sure data and calculations are accurate.
• Perform local BI training for users across the business
• Support business in requirement analysis and report development

PROFILE REQUIRED

• Level of education/qualifications normally required:
• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Strong Business Intelligence experience
• Must have a strong knowledge of QlikView Application. Qliksense is a plus.
• Good Knowledge of Qlikview deployment framework
• Previous scripting or programming experience

Specific Work experience:

• Good understanding of reporting Data Models
• Good understanding of reports and the logic behind them
• Knowledge of systems, processes and the application of IT to the business
• Experience working with key business users to design, configure, and modify BI tools and deliverables to meet business requirements
• Familiarity with manufacturing environment 

Technical / Functional Skills:

• Analytical and planning skills with a good attention to detail
• Good analytical skills to rigorously and effectively examine large quantities of data and derive insights from these data sets
• Knowledge of change control processes
• Knowledge of system delivery lifecycle
• Documentation skills
• Ability to deal with unexpected problems in a professional manner
• Basic knowledge of SQL, data modelling and design
