About the Role

• A reputable school in Abuja is hiring a passionate and experienced Early Years Teacher to take charge of Basic 1.
• The ideal candidate must have solid experience with the Cambridge Curriculum, strong classroom management skills, and a deep love for early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver age-appropriate lessons based on the Cambridge Primary Curriculum
• Create engaging, child-centered learning experiences in literacy, numeracy, and science
• Prepare and assess pupils using Cambridge-based evaluation methods
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
• Track student progress and prepare regular reports.

Requirements

• B.Ed/NCE in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a Cambridge-based school
• Strong understanding of the Cambridge Early Years and Primary frameworks
• Excellent communication, creativity, and classroom management skills
• Passion for working with young children and helping them thrive
• TRCN certification is an added advantage.
