YellowDoor Hotels is hiring senior baristas for The Living Room, our restaurant and bar in Abuja that celebrates local flavour with world-class service standards. If you treat coffee machines the way a mechanic treats an engine - with technical respect and daily discipline - and you can hold quality at speed during a packed morning rush, this role was written for you.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain all five machine types across every assigned shift
• Execute daily cleaning, descaling, and calibration routines without prompting
• Deliver accurate, well-presented drinks at pace during peak service hours
• Identify and flag equipment wear or performance issues before they escalate
• Contribute documented optimization practices that extend machine lifespan
• Cross-train and guide incoming baristas on machine handling and drink standards

Required Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience
• Espresso extraction & calibration
• Semi-automatic & fully automatic machine operation
• Commercial grinder setup & adjustment
• Steam/milk frothing technique
• Preventive maintenance & descaling
• Peak-hour speed & accuracy
• Pour-over & drip system proficiency
• Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine Operation
• Fully Automatic Espresso Machine Operation
• Grinder Calibration & Management
• Milk Frothing & Texturing
• Pour-Over & Manual Brew Methods
• Preventive Maintenance & Cleaning Routines
• Drink Recipe Consistency & Quality Control

Preferred Qualifications

• Latte art
