    Avionics Engineer

    Reports to: Chief Engineer

    Responsibilities

    • Conducts regular inspections and ensure the serviceability of the aircraft
    • Carry out all Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Alert Service Bulletins.
    • (ASBs) and Service Bulletins (SBs) relating to the aircraft and report same to relevant Airworthiness Authorities
    • Update all aircraft data (e.g. Nav. Data, E- Maps, E - Charts etc.)
    • Participate in the annual certificate of Airworthiness (C of A) renewal of the aircraft type and ensure that the aircraft is airworthy at all times.
    • Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the aircraft as well as minor modifications on the aircraft as appropriate.
    • Conduct regular inspection of all aircraft related Ground Service Equipment (GSE) to ensure that they are serviceable and ready for use as needed.
    • Maintain up to date documentation on the aircraft.
    • Prepare periodic and adhoc reports as appropriate to aid decision making.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by line manager.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and/or other relevant field required; MS degree strongly preferred.
    • At least 5 years of relevant hands-on experience.
    • Experience with Pixhawk-based autopilot architecture.
    • Hands-on experience with building and testing avionics flight control system.
    • Experience with integrating hardware components (such as sensors) into an embedded system.

    Salary
    N150,000 - N300,000 monthly.
