Automobile Fleet Maintenance Supervisor at GUO Transport Company Limited

Job Responsibilities 

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of mechanics, technicians, and support staff in the automobile maintenance workshop.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance of all company vehicles (buses, trucks, cars, etc.)
• Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure all maintenance and repair activities comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance history, repairs, and spare parts usage.
• Monitor workshop inventory, requisition spare parts, and ensure proper usage to minimize wastage.
• Prepare periodic reports on fleet condition, maintenance costs, and downtime.
• Train and guide mechanics/technicians to improve skill levels and efficiency.
• Collaborate with fleet operations to minimize vehicle downtime and ensure availability for business needs.
• Enforce compliance with company policies, health, and safety guidelines in the workshop.
• Recommend improvements in maintenance processes and cost-control measures.

Requirements

• Candidates must reside at Onitsha or its environs.

Salary
N150,000 - N250,000 / month
