    AutoCAD Draftsman - Ethane Cracker

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develop product designs from scratch. Present rough design draughts for client approval. Ensure product designs meet required safety and structural standards. Generate Solid and Surface CAD models using AutoCAD software.
    • AutoCAD Draughters specialise increating Computer-Aided Design (CAD) models using Autodesk's AutoCAD software. They are highly trained draughtsmen work with architects and engineers to design and create 2D and 3D computer models of buildings and machine parts from blueprints or from scratch.
    • Generated technical drawings using a computer aided drafting system (AutoCAD).
    • Ensure Manage to draft and plot conceptual and final plans.
    • To be well Organized and maintained files for all facilities and project documentation.
    • Support the gathering, record, and maintain engineering specific information.
    • Work with engineers to design mechanical systems in blueprints.
    • Use AutoCAD and Revit to create drawings.
    • Communicate changes to construction team as needed.
    • Complete assignments before deadlines.
    • Meetings with architects, designers, and engineers to discuss design ideas.
    • To Develop product designs from scratch.
    • Presenting rough design drafts for client approval.
    • Ensuring product designs meet required safety and structural standards.
    • Blending Technique and aesthetics to create final designs.
    • Presenting various design perspectives for construction improvements and adaptations.
    • Finalizing the AutoCAD models.
    • Completing job reports.
    • Reporting to Lead Engineer and Project Manager.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Engineering or Diploma engineering or AutoCAD Drafts studies or Equivalent studies.
    • AutoCAD Draughters specialise increating Computer-Aided Design (CAD) models using Autodesk's AutoCAD software. They are highly trained draughtsmen work with architects and engineers to design and create 2D and 3D computer models of buildings and machine parts from blueprints or from scratch.
    • 10 years related experience in petrochemical projects as AutoCAD drafter.
    • Advanced knowledge of CAD and AutoCAD software.
    • Excellent technical Design skills.
    • Experience in large scale green field petrochemical plant like Ethane /Polyethylene are preferred.
    • Experience of coordinating with project /engineering team during FEED and EPC.
    • Generated technical drawings using a computer aided drafting system (AutoCAD).
    • Managed to draft and plot conceptual and final plans.
    • Organized and maintained files for all facilities and project documentation.
    • Supported the gathering, recorded, and maintained engineering specific information.
    • Strong coaching skills, leadership abilities, and decision-making abilities.
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft office.
    • Ability to project manage.
