Auto Electrician Heavy Duty Trucks at Geoaudits

Responsibilities

• The Auto Electrician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems in heavy-duty trucks to ensure reliable operation and safety.
• This role requires in-depth knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and modern truck electronics.
• The successful candidate will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults related to wiring, lighting systems, batteries, alternators, starters, sensors, and control units.
• They will work on truck dashboards, instrument clusters, ECU systems, and other electronic components, ensuring all systems function correctly.
• The Auto Electrician will install and maintain electrical accessories such as trackers, GPS units, reverse cameras, and other fleet-related devices where required.
• They will use diagnostic tools to identify electrical issues and carry out repairs efficiently to minimize vehicle downtime.
• Maintaining accurate service records, following safety procedures, and collaborating with mechanics and fleet supervisors are key aspects of the role.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3–5 years experience as an auto electrician for heavy-duty trucks
• Strong understanding of truck wiring diagrams and electronic systems
• Experience with diagnostic tools and fault-finding techniques
• Technical certification or vocational training is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
