As an Auditor Analyst, you will be responsible for examining and evaluating financial records, internal controls, and operational processes to ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential in identifying discrepancies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
This role will require you to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate findings effectively, and contribute to the overall financial health and compliance of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Financial Auditing: Conduct financial audits to review and verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations.
Operational Auditing: Assess operational processes and procedures to identify inefficiencies, risks, and areas for improvement.
Risk Assessment: Analyze financial and operational data to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Data Analysis: Utilize analytical tools and software to process and interpret large datasets, identifying trends and anomalies.
Compliance Monitoring: Monitor adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements, ensuring corrective actions are taken when necessary.
Communication: Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to communicate audit results, provide guidance, and assist in implementing improvements.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to contribute to the enhancement of audit methodologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. ICAN, ACA or ACCA or relevant certification is a plus.
Proven experience in financial or operational auditing, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and relevant regulations. FIRS
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, data analytics software).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey audit findings and recommendations.
