Asst. Finance Manager at Echolab Radiology and Laboratory Services

Summary

• The Assistant Finance Manager supports the Finance manager in planning and executing financial duties including stock control & monitoring, budgeting, assets management, and assist with financial reporting, audit & tax related issues.

Responsibilities

• Management of the organization fixed assets on SAP and controls.
• Maintain the company fixed asset register.
• Responsible for creation of SAP Fixed assets codes for Fixed asset purchases.
• Ensure CAPEX request approval on SAP, monitoring, controls against budget, and periodic reporting.
• Assist the Finance Manager to provide clarification on material variances in Management accounts MoM.
• Engage in the organization stock control and monitoring.
• General Ledgers review and validations of correctness.
• Handle all Intercompany related transactions postings on SAP.
• Revaluation of all foreign transaction accounts via the automated template and communication of same to FM monthly.
• Ensure all Clearing Accounts on SAP for both PL & BS are NIL by the close of the month.
• Initiate monthly depreciation, IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 installation/runs on SAP
• Extract Revenues from LMS and compute payables while ensuring all payments are backed with online Questionnaire from relevant departments.
• Ensure monthly filing of statutory payments with relevant tax authorities within the tax requirements timelines
• Partake in all taxes and regulatory related audit and issues.
• Interface with External Auditors, Tax agents on behalf of the organization.
• Provision of supervisory roles to the account Payables Officer and Treasury Officer.
• Provide support to the Finance Manager

• Analytical & Problem-solving skills.
• Conversant with SAP IFRS 15 & 16
• Foreign accounts balance translations.
• MsExcel and SAP software skills (Critical)
• Proficiency in financial planning software.
• Budgeting and Auditing skills.

Education

• B.Sc Accounting or similar course.
• At least final stage of ICAN or related Certification

Experience

• A minimum of 4 years' experience in similar role
