We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team.
The Assistant Manager will play a key role in supporting the Restaurant Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, customer service, inventory control, and financial management.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities
Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff assignments, and customer service standards.
Supervise and train restaurant staff, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure optimal performance and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new employees as needed.
Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies, ingredients, and equipment in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and sanitation standards at all times.
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner, striving to resolve issues to the satisfaction of the guest.
Assist with the development and implementation of marketing and promotional strategies to drive sales and increase revenue.
Prepare reports on sales, inventory, labor costs, and other key performance indicators, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and profitability.
Lead by example, demonstrating a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence in all aspects of restaurant operations.
Requirements
Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in the restaurant industry, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume establishment.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with guests and staff.
Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, kitchen management, and front-of-house procedures.
Proficiency in computer software applications, including POS systems and Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Food safety certification and alcohol service certification may be required.
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
