Job Summary

• We are seeking experienced, safety-conscious, and reliable Articulated Truck Drivers to join our client's team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods using articulated trucks, while ensuring full compliance with road safety regulations and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate articulated trucks safely and efficiently for the movement of goods.
• Ensure timely delivery of assigned loads to designated locations.
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips to confirm roadworthiness.
• Report faults, breakdowns, accidents, or maintenance needs promptly.
• Ensure proper handling and security of goods in transit.
• Maintain accurate trip records, delivery notes, and vehicle logs.
• Comply with all traffic laws, transport regulations, and company safety standards.
• Keep assigned vehicle clean and in good working condition.
• Work closely with logistics and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery processes.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as an Articulated Truck Driver.
• Must possess a valid Class G Driver’s License.
• Good knowledge of road safety rules and vehicle handling.
• Ability to carry out routine vehicle checks and identify basic faults.
• Physically fit and capable of handling long-distance trips where required.
• Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and punctuality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Added Advantage:

• Experience in logistics, haulage, or transportation operations
• Good knowledge of routes within and across Nigeria
• Valid training/certification in defensive driving or transport safety
