    Area Business Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee and manage the performance of Territory Managers and Senior Sales Executives across assigned regions.
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to assigned market territories.
    • Drive the achievement of a ₦400 Million monthly sales target** across the region.
    • Develop and execute strategic plans to increase market penetration, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
    • Monitor sales performance metrics and analyze results to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and business opportunities.
    • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management support to Territory Managers and their teams.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and business partners.
    • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to ensure alignment of business objectives and sales initiatives.
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, market insights, and business activities.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales management, preferably within the financial services industry.
    • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage high-performing sales teams.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong business development and stakeholder management capabilities.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
