Description

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing construction projects, ensuring that all designs are functional, safe, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing.
• The Architect will be actively involved throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with various construction professionals to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs and produce detailed drawings using CAD software and other design tools.
• Prepare conceptual designs, presentations, and technical documentation.
• Liaise with construction professionals to assess the feasibility of projects.
• Ensure designs comply with building regulations, environmental standards, and planning laws.
• Prepare and submit planning applications and necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, quantity surveyors, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to designs based on site conditions, budget, or client requirements.
• Specify project requirements, materials, and timelines.
• Prepare reports, proposals, and contracts for clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
• Proven experience in architectural design and project management.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Strong design and drafting skills
• High level of creativity and innovation
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
