Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a robust agricultural investment portfolio, identifying and evaluating investment opportunities that align with our strategic objectives.
• Conduct comprehensive market, financial, and risk analyses to inform investment decisions and strategies.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with investors, partners, and other stakeholders in the agricultural sector.
• Lead due diligence processes, investment negotiations, and the execution of investment transactions.
• Monitor and manage the performance of the investment portfolio, ensuring alignment with our sustainability goals and financial objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate investment strategies with company-wide initiatives.
• Stay abreast of trends, regulatory changes, and innovations in the agricultural and financial sectors to adapt strategies accordingly.
• Report regularly to senior management and stakeholders on portfolio performance, insights, and strategic recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, Finance, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees, will be considered an added advantage.
• Proven track record with several years of experience in investment management, preferably within the agricultural sector or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct thorough financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• understanding of the agricultural sector's trends, challenges, and opportunities, especially within the context of sustainable and innovative practices.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insights into actionable investment strategies.
