Agricultural Value Chain Project Manager at BONGAS Synergy Limited

We are seeking a high-performing and innovative professional to oversee an integrated Agricultural Value Chain Project from farm to export. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable capacity to lead teams, manage end-to-end project cycles, and ensure that agricultural produce flows seamlessly from production to processing and final export destinations.

You will be responsible for coordinating field operations, logistics, value addition, and stakeholder relations - ensuring speed, quality, and digital accountability throughout the chain. This role demands strong leadership, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to work effectively within Nigeria’s diverse agrarian landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team to deliver on all project objectives and timelines.
• Oversee the entire agricultural value chain process - from input sourcing, cultivation, aggregation, processing, storage, and transportation to export delivery points.
• Design and execute strategies to ensure farm-to-export traceability, quality control, and compliance with national and international standards.
• Drive innovation in production, logistics, and market linkage through the use of digital tools and data systems.
• Coordinate with farmers, cooperatives, aggregators, processors, exporters, logistics companies, and government agencies.
• Manage project planning, budgeting, monitoring, and evaluation in alignment with strategic goals.
• Maintain a bird’s-eye view of the project flow while ensuring rapid, high-quality execution on the ground.
• Develop, maintain, and report accurate data on production volumes, quality assessments, and export performance.
• Identify growth opportunities within the value chain and propose scalable solutions.
• Promote knowledge sharing, capacity building, and continuous improvement across project teams.

Requirements:

• Years of proven experience in managing any value chain or agribusiness-related project, with measurable outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, coordinate multi-stakeholder engagements, and manage projects end-to-end.
• Deep understanding of Nigeria’s geography, especially the agrarian Northern (Arewa) regions, with strong grassroots or local networks.
• Excellent digital, analytical, and reporting skills (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, or similar).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Educational background is flexible — candidates from any field are encouraged to apply, provided they have the right experience and track record.
• Some knowledge of logistics, supply chain, or export operations will be an added advantage.
