Agricultural Extension & Field Research Officers at Davidorlah Farms

• As we expand across Nigeria, we are building a nationwide network of Agricultural Extension & Field Research Officers to serve as the link between Davidorlah, farming communities, and our agricultural intelligence ecosystem.
• This is more than a traditional extension role. You will combine farmer development, agricultural research, field intelligence, and data collection to help shape the future of commercial agriculture in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, engage, and onboard pineapple farmers.
• Build relationships with farmers, cooperatives, and agricultural stakeholders.
• Train farmers on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and sustainable farming methods.
• Conduct regular farm visits and provide technical support.
• Collect, validate, and report agricultural data to support research and strategic decision-making.
• Prepare field reports and collaborate with Farm Managers, Research, and Business Intelligence teams.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience as an Agricultural Extension Officer, Agricultural Research Officer, Field Officer, or similar role. (Candidates with less than 3 years' experience need not apply.)
• Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Extension, Agronomy, Crop Science, Agricultural Economics, Rural Development, or related disciplines (an added advantage).
• Strong analytical, report writing, and data collection skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to travel extensively within and outside Nigeria.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Added Advantage:

• Candidates who can communicate fluently in Hausa, Edo, Efik, or Ibibio are strongly encouraged to apply. 
• Knowledge of additional Nigerian languages is a plus.
