About the job

• Contribute to the development of the departmental strategy, aligned with the overall functional strategy, and oversee its execution within your section.
• Manage the section’s daily operations by providing expertise, enabling teamwork, and aligning processes, in order to achieve high performance standards and meet established targets.
• Prepare the needed maintenance work schedule through distributing customers by zones, problem urgency, and efficient distribution of teams accordingly to ensure proper functioning of the gensets at the customers' site.
• Monitor and take part in operational assignments such as inspecting projects and sites, fault finding, responding to technical problem calls, developing, and implementing designs and modifications for any installation, visiting clients, and perform trouble shooting and diagnosis work on the installations, attending to customer complaints and major faults to support the team with his technical expertise.
• Advise on service pricing by preparing BOQs for major works, coordinating with Spare Parts, pricing on-call visits, and reviewing customer receivables to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
• Review reports from the Maintenance Coordinator to analyze major or recurring breakdowns, service delays, and contract renewals, and recommend corrective actions. Coordinate with the Technical Department on key customer cases, warranty issues, complaints, and product improvement suggestions.
• Interact with the customers, taking into consideration their needs, suggestions, critical issues, or complaints they may have, and following on them for best response and processing.
• Oversee the proper use, upkeep, and cleanliness of maintenance equipment and vehicles, tracking any loss or damage and ensuring timely replacements to maintain service quality and prevent errors during customer maintenance work.
