    Administrative Intern / Assistant Administrative Officer

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist in managing the daily operations of the church office, including organizing files, handling correspondence, and managing schedules.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors and phone inquiries, directing them to the appropriate departments or providing necessary information.
    • Maintain accurate records of church services, events, membership details, and other important documents.
    •  Assist in the coordination of church events, meetings, and services, ensuring all logistics (venues, catering, materials) are in place.
    • Manage and monitor office supplies, consumables, and Church materials to prevent shortages.
    • Ensure that the church premises, including offices, worship areas, and restrooms, are clean and well-prepared for services or events. Coordinate with cleaning staff as needed.
    • Assist in maintaining church equipment such as audio-visual systems, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
    • Help in the operation and maintenance of the church’s generator, ensuring it functions smoothly and servicing is done as required. Keep records of its use.
    • Ensure continuous water supply, particularly in restrooms, and address any issues related to water flow.
    • Assist in processing payments, and handle basic banking operations for church-related activities.
    • Coordinate with vendors and contractors, ensuring timely delivery of services and supplies.
    • Provide administrative support to church leadership, including handling special tasks or assignments from the Senior Executive Admin/HR.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum of a National Diploma in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications and office management tools.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with solid interpersonal abilities to interact with various stakeholders.
