    Administrative Architect

    Job Summary

    • We are looking to hire an Architect Administrative Assistant to combine administrative duties, like scheduling and managing documents, with architectural support tasks, such as drawings, measurements, 2D /3D designs, organizing project files, preparing presentation materials, and coordinating with clients and vendors.
    • The Architect would use their creativity and problem-solving skills to design houses, office buildings and other types of infrastructure.
    • Your job is to take their client’s vision and compare it with budgeting needs and environmental factors.
    • You would also decide what types of materials to use in the structure based on the local environment and structural needs.
    • You may be in charge of obtaining permits and licensure to use certain materials on the building site.
    • Ability to work with architectural software to create building plans
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to large groups
    • Written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to prepare 2D and 3D drawings.
    • Ability to take precise measurements.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Researches, programs, plans, designs, and administers building projects for clients, applying knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials and systems.
    • Produces conceptual plans, renderings, and documents.
    • Plans and programs layout of project(s); coordinates and integrates engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval.
    • Utilizes computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans.
    • Produces construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit.
    • Working as a Project Manager, may direct, supervise, and preparing drawings and specification documents for the Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase, and/or the Detailed Design Phase of a project.
    • Works in tandem with highly collaborative multi-discipline design teams.
    • Assists in research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications.
    • Ability to provide elegant and efficient design solutions
    • Excellent oral and written communication
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills
    • High attention to detail
    • Ability to work under indirect supervision
      Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style to include teamwork and team building ability
    • Technically creative and open-minded
    • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office suite is required.

    Requirements

    • Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree qualification with 5 years work experience.

    Salary
    N200,000 monthly.
