    Accounts and Adminstrative Officer

    The roles of an Administrative Officer at Olawale Adeyemi Consulting/ Inspirited Real Estate Services are sub-divided into three: 

    • Office Management
    • Accounting and Bookkeeping
    • Office Management (Office Administration/ Secretarial Functions)

    He or she must ensure: 

    • Proper running of the office and conducive working environment for operations.
    • Follow up on all assignments/business transactions to ensure satisfactory completion.
    • Collect and review all staff reports for the week, before passing them to the Principal Partner every 4 pm on Fridays.
    • Ensure that the agenda for all Monday meetings is sent out latest close of business (COB) on Friday and action points must be circulated before COB on meeting day. 
    • Must keep the itinerary of the Principal Partner

    To do this, the candidate must have:

     Good organisational skills and be able to effectively

    • Organise and maintain records, files, and databases of office equipment, vendors, clients and transactions. 
    • Be always on top of competing priorities, multitasking effectively and helping Principal Partner to juggle his schedules, appointments and calendars 
    • Forward-planning
    • Delegation of tasks
    • Writing memos and transcribing recorded dictation 
    • Creating and reviewing email templates
    • Making travel arrangements.

    Have effective writing and verbal communication skills and problem-solving skills to

    • Absorb and disseminate information in a practical and understandable way 
    • Clarify complex information, both written and verbal to team members and clients 
    • Identify problems and work with the PP or team members to decide on the best solutions.
    • Communicate well when problems arise 

    Teamwork, Interpersonal skills and Customer service skills

    • Build teamwork and interpersonal, solid and collaborative relationships with colleagues.
    • Receiving and providing constructive feedback 
    • Complaint and problem resolution
    • Building customer loyalty 
    • Setting customer expectations
    • Liaising between key colleagues and clients

    Some common technology and software skills include: 

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Ability to use a large range of email clients (Outlook, Gmail)
    • Managing databases
    • Using accounting software
    • Organise business travel i.e book flights etc

    Accounting and Bookkeeping

    • Manage Office Imprest account
    • Update Expense Schedule and spreadsheet
    • Prepare Salary Schedule 
    •  Work with External Auditors to ensure Tax and other compliance
