We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Accounting Officer to join our finance team in Ikoyi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the company’s financial operations. Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
Prepare financial statements, reports, and bank reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial policies, and reporting deadlines.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis to support business decisions.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, expenses, and revenue.
Work closely with internal teams to streamline accounting processes.
Support audits and liaise with external financial bodies as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-4 years of accounting experience (preferably in FMCG or a related industry).
Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems).
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
