    Accountant - Magodo

    • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents. 
    • Transaction Processing: Handling accounts payable (paying bills) and accounts receivable (collecting payments from clients). 
    • Financial Reporting: Preparing regular financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. 
    • Bank Reconciliation: Ensuring that bank statements match the company's financial records. Budget Management: Assisting in the development and monitoring of budgets, ensuring expenses stay within allocated limits.
    •  Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential areas for improvement. 
    • Client Communication: Addressing client inquiries related to billing and payments, and resolving any issues or discrepancies. 
    • Compliance: Ensuring all financial activities comply with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. 
    • Auditing: Assisting with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. 
    • Other Duties: This may include tasks such as managing petty cash, preparing tax returns, and handling payroll. 
    • Requirements and Qualifications: 
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 
    • Proven experience in accounting, finance, or a related role. 
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles, procedures, and regulations. 
    • Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle. 
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
    • Organizational and time management skills. 
    • Communication and interpersonal abilities. 
    • Integrity and professionalism in handling confidential financial information.
