Job Summary

• The Field Marketer will be responsible for promoting the company’s solar energy products and services through direct, on-ground marketing activities. The role involves customer engagement, lead generation, market awareness, and supporting sales conversion by educating prospective customers on the benefits of solar energy solutions.
• This position is ideal for a proactive individual who enjoys outdoor marketing, customer interaction, and contributing to clean and sustainable energy adoption.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Field Marketing & Promotion

• Conduct door-to-door, street, and community-based marketing activities
• Promote solar products such as inverters, solar panels, batteries, and complete solar solutions
• Educate potential customers on the benefits, cost savings, and usage of solar energy systems
• Distribute marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, and promotional items

Lead Generation & Sales Support

• Identify and generate qualified sales leads
• Capture customer information accurately and submit daily/weekly reports
• Schedule appointments for sales representatives where required
• Support sales teams during product demonstrations and activations

Market Intelligence

• Gather information on customer needs, competitor offerings, and pricing trends
• Provide feedback on customer objections and market challenges
• Identify new business opportunities within assigned territories

Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective customers
• Respond professionally to customer inquiries and basic technical questions
• Ensure a positive brand image during all customer interactions

Reporting & Compliance

• Maintain accurate records of daily field activities and leads generated
• Meet assigned targets for leads, conversions, and brand awareness
• Adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and safety guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE/OND qualification (HND/BSc is an added advantage)
• Previous experience in field marketing, sales, or direct marketing is preferred
• Basic understanding of solar energy products is an advantage (training would provided)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet targets
• Willingness to work outdoors and travel within assigned locations
