Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Process payroll and ensure timely remittance of statutory deductions (e.g., VAT, PAYE, pensions).
• Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Support budgeting and financial forecasting processes.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audit processes.
• Ensure financial policies, procedures, and internal controls are effectively implemented.
• Provide timely financial insights to management to aid decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (professional qualifications such as ICAN/ACCA is an added advantage).
• Minimum of 1–2 years proven experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, HMO and tax laws.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
