Job Summary

• The Account Officer is responsible for supporting the hospital’s finance operations by managing day-to-day financial transactions, preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, processing payments and invoices, and ensuring compliance with hospital financial policies and relevant healthcare regulations.
• The role contributes to the efficient financial management of the hospital to support quality patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance.
• Professional certification is an advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite
• Good knowledge of hospital billing and insurance procedures is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
