    Global Test Developer

    Job Summary

    • The Global Test Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality assessments that meet internationally recognised psychometric standards.
    • The successful candidate will leverage research, statistical analysis, historical assessment data, and responsible AI tools to create assessments that are scientifically sound, commercially valuable, and scalable.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, validate, and maintain psychometric assessments aligned with international best practices.
    • Create new assessment content and enhance existing test batteries across multiple competency areas.
    • Analyse candidate response data using psychometric methods to evaluate item quality, reliability, validity, and fairness.
    • Utilise AI tools to accelerate assessment development while ensuring rigorous human review and psychometric validation.
    • Manage and continuously improve the organisation's assessment item bank through documentation, version control, and quality assurance processes.
    • Conduct research into emerging trends in assessment science, psychometrics, and AI to support product innovation.
    • Collaborate with Product, Technology, Operations, Sales, and external subject matter experts in developing new assessment solutions.
    • Monitor assessment performance and recommend data-driven improvements.
    • Prepare technical reports and present research findings to internal stakeholders and clients.
    • Ensure compliance with quality assurance, ethical, and data protection standards.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial Science, or a related discipline (minimum Second Class Upper).
    • 4–7 years of experience in psychometric test development, assessment design, applied research, or a related field.
    • Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or SPSS.

    Desirable Skills
    Experience in one or more of the following areas will be an advantage:

    • Classical Test Theory (CTT)
    • Item Response Theory (IRT)
    • Python, R, or SQL
    • Computer-Based Testing (CBT)
    • Online Proctoring Technologies
    • Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT)
    • Practical use of Generative AI tools for research or assessment development.
