    Account Officer

    ROLE SUMMARY

    The Account Officer will be responsible for supporting the company’s accounting and financial management functions, maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial procedures.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation
    • Process invoices, payments, receipts, and expense reports
    • Assist with bank reconciliations and financial reporting
    • Monitor accounts payable and receivable activities
    • Support payroll administration and statutory remittances
    • Prepare periodic financial summaries and management reports
    • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards
    • Assist during audits and financial reviews
    • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial information
    • Support administrative and operational finance functions when required

    REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

    • OND, HND, or AAT qualification in Accountancy or related discipline
    • Minimum of 2 years relevant accounting or finance experience
    • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting processes
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
    • Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills
    • Good communication and interpersonal abilities
    • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail

    PREFERRED ADVANTAGE

    • ATS, ICAN, or ACCA qualification in progress or completed
    • Experience working within engineering, technical, or project-based organizations
    • Familiarity with Nigerian tax and statutory compliance requirements
