Account Officer at ConSol Limited

Job Summary

The Account Officer will support the finance department in managing financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring accurate reporting. The role requires attention to detail, integrity, and a basic understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and documentation
• Assist with daily cash management, bank reconciliations, and postings
• Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, and receipts
• Support payroll processing and staff reimbursements
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and schedules
• Maintain proper filing of financial documents (physical and electronic)
• Support budget tracking and expense monitoring
• Assist during audits and provide required financial information

Requirements & Qualifications

• HND/BSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience (NYSC experience inclusive)
• Corps Members currently serving or recently completed are encouraged to apply
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to work with numbers accurately and confidentially
