Job Description

• Reconciling invoices and identifying discrepancies
• Creating and updating expense reports
• Processing reimbursement forms
• Cash/ Cheque Receipting
• Banking activities
• Recording of receipts in cash/cheque register
• Filing payment vouchers
• Data entry and update in the EMR
• Petty cash handling
• Sighting and confirmation of supplies from vendors
• Donor payment requisitions

Requirements and Skills

• OND in Accounting, Finance or relevant field with 2-3 years experience
• Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
• Familiarity with finance regulations
• Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g.EMR and Peachtree)
• Organization skills
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
