AC Repair Technician at CNG Glass (Nigeria) FZE

We are seeking a skilled AC Repair Technician to join our team, specializing in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience troubleshooting HVAC equipment and ensuring optimal performance for residential and commercial clients.  

Requirements:  

• Technical Certification or Diploma in HVAC systems, refrigeration, or a related field.  
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in AC repair, maintenance, and installation.  
• EPA 608 Certification (or equivalent) for handling refrigerants (preferred).  
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals 
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and mechanical systems.  
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.  

Responsibilities:  

• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in air conditioning systems, including refrigerant leaks, electrical faults, and airflow issues.  
• Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, and testing system performance.  
• Install new HVAC systems according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.  
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain repairs, provide cost estimates, and recommend energy-efficient solutions.  
• Adhere to safety protocols and local building codes during all service calls.  

Preferred Skills:  

• Experience with ductless mini-split systems and smart HVAC technologies.  
• Knowledge of building automation systems and energy-efficient retrofits.  
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
