Job Description

• Analyse body fluids or tissues using microscope or analyser to detect abnormalities or diseases
• Conduct blood tests and perform blood counts
• Examine cells and cultures to find abnormalities.
• Set up, maintain, calibrate, clean, and test sterility of medical laboratory equipment
• Analyse results of tests
• Record test data
• Prepare standard solutions or reagents to be combined with samples

Requirements 

• 5 years minimum experience post Nysc

• A trace employment history

• Must have a valid license to practice

• Must be willing to work extra hours including weekends

• Must be able to carry out various tasks unsupervised

• Must take keen interest in self directed learning
