Job Summary
To be responsible for producing, designing, crafting, and testing wood products and furnitures using specialized tools.
Responsibilities
Design, produce, and test wood products
Build furniture using hand tools
Set up, operate, and tend drill presses, lathes, shapers, routers, sanders, planers, and wood-nailing machines
Qualifications and skill requirements
Basic vocational qualification in woodwork is required
Knowledge of designing woodwork using computer aided design software is an added advantage
Creativity and Manual Dexterity
Mechanical ability and safety ethics
