Main Functions

• Provide Corrosion technician support to all sites
• Receive hands on training with current corrosion (Category Plan (CP) ) technicians
• Assist current inspection/corrosion and pipeline engineers in scoping/assistance where needed.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Perform routine corrosion monitoring and inspection activities (initial focus cathodic protection (CP)
• Perform/initiate routine maintenance for the field corrosion control system (CP)
• Assist the corrosion engineer in scheduling and conducting inspections
• Planning work scopes and schedules for integrity program activities
• Entry of inspection and survey data into the Programmatics databases
• Assisting Electrical Engineering Lead
• Surveillance and reporting - Electrical Control and Maintenance System (ECMS)
• Scoping works for plant modifications and repairs

Job Requirements

• Years of closely related field experience
• Discipline appropriate certification(s) if applicable or equivalent professional experience
• Effective communication skills; ability to clearly and concisely describe conditions in the field and recommend remediation steps
• Team Player; exhibits effective teamwork when working with persons over whom the person may have no direct authority and willingness to assist others
• Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
