Requirements Essential
Education/Qualifications:

• First Degree in Economics or Accounting or other numerate discipline.
• ACA and other relevant international professional qualifications (CIMA, CPA, ACCA)

Experience

• Min.10 years' experience in Financial Management, relevant experience in audit and costing.
• Experience in a corporate firm is mandatory, at least 3years of which should have been at a senior level heading the accounts team.

• Must be a detail-oriented, efficient and organized professional with extensive experience in accounting systems.
• Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to make well thought out decisions.
• Must possess good interpersonal skills for relating at senior levels.
• Highly trustworthy, discreet and ethical.
• Resourceful in the completion of projects, effective at multi-tasking.

Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities:

• Having skills in leadership, team management, problem-solving mentality, analytical thinking, attention to detail and accuracy.
• Having good MS Office skills particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel.
• Working Knowledge of SAGE software.
• Working Knowledge of economic, accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, and banking.
• Working Knowledge of laws, legal rules particularly IFRS Accounting Standards.
• Working Knowledge of Budgeting and Planning.
• Ability to effectively manage Tax issues.
• CBN guidelines and reporting schedule/system requirements Job Function Oversees & Supervises the accounting functions of the firm.
