Project Officer at Linking the Youth of Nigeria through Exchange

Reports to:

National Programme Officer

 Responsibilities:

• Direct Implementation of project activities
• Advocate for the passage of child right bill
• Facilitate good relationship between the organization and community stakeholder
• Play the role of M & E where necessary
• Monitoring of enterprise
• Periodic Advocacy visit to ministry
• Manage social media campaign in Kaduna state
• Other tasks may be assigned by the management

Position Requirements: Qualification and experience needed for this position include:

• Graduate in B.Sc./HND Public admin, Project management, social sciences or any related course
• Must be experienced in advocacy
• Fluent in Hausa language
• Must be familiar with Kaduna environs
• Basic knowledge of projects management
• Good communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, team player, able to work under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Good IT skills
• Passion for Child and Youth development/working with NGOs
• Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people
