Civil Engineer - GL.08 at Kaduna State Government

Duties and Responsibilities

• Undertaking two years pupilage programme and performing the following duties under supervision
• Carrying out preliminary studies and investigation on various forms of Engineering activities
• Preparing Engineering designs
• Preparing designs of projects and costs estimates and tender documents in respect of projects to be carried out whether by contract or direct labour
• Supervising work being carried out either by contract or direct labour
• Assisting in the maintenance and operations of machinery and plants in the workshops and on sites including Local Government roads
• Performing such other duties as may be assigned

Qualification

• B.Sc. Civil Engineering.

Important Notice

• Candidates must possess NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate or Certificate of Exclusion where applicable.
• Membership of Professional bodies would be an additional advantage.
• Candidates who are awaiting result will not be considered and need not to apply.

Remuneration
Salaries, allowances and other conditions of service would be as approved by the Kaduna State Government.
