Job Description

• Analyse roads market in the country and the players involved along the value chain of a road project
• Identify roads projects in the pipeline
• Identify and assess roads projects in the country
• Investigate potential contractors likely to bid for the project
• Plan regular touch points to understand customers' projects pipeline and associated challenges
• Develop the integrated offer including products and services
• Hold the responsibility of the offer in front of Marketing Director/ CEO and product lines GMs
• Create tailor-made offer based on understanding contractors' needs
• Propose additional products and services specific to the project and relevant for the contractor
• Stand as the preferred point of contact for contractors at every stage of projects.
• Mobilise and coordinate all product lines to be able to offer a tailor-made offer with products and services
• Input the strategy and marketing plans on the Roads/ Infrastructure sector.
• Liaise with Government, Universities, technical institutions, Standards Bureaus and other stakeholders on adoption, testing and development of Standards for Roads in Cement and Concrete, manuals and specifications to further cement/concrete applications.

Expectations

• Graduate/ Post-graduate in Architectural or civil engineering technology, construction management, industrial technology or materials
• At least 10 years of experience in the management of roads construction projects
• P&L responsibility of road projects
• Purchasing/sourcing experience
• Supervisory experience
• Business development /bidding
• Solid knowledge and contacts in construction industry (in Nigeria)
• Excellent relationship skills
• Proven project management skills.
• Sound negotiation and influencing skills.
• Self-driven; ability to work independently with external stakeholders with limited supervision.
• Ability to achieve results with external stakeholders.
